UK based Electronic acid electro grunge artist, Zheng returns to the label kicking off 2026 with a smash.
This release lands in a fragile moment for underground electronic music, when keeping an independent label alive without money, safety nets, or algorithmic favour feels almost impossible.
Ombra International has always existed to release what feels true, not what trends.
Zheng is that kind of artist: hands on, driven by instinct, playing instruments, bending machines, using his own voice, and opening doors for strange and powerful collaborators like Paris-based Silent Wife.
On “Love By Nature,” her presence deepens the record’s emotional gravity.
Silence EP was forged in improvised rituals and spontaneous dream like studio sessions stitched together with industrial energy, attitude of electro, shoegaze haze, and gritty UK garage bass-lines. Love, lust, inescapable raw craft, blurring with dance floor and inner self until they’re the same body.
This may be Ombra International’s last release for now, but it’s not a full stop. The Next Wave Acid Punx series keeps the flame alive, early sparks of the underground meshing with now.
Zheng isn’t here to save anything. He’s just making music that feels right. Raw, unfiltered, real punk electronic shit. And in a world obsessed with numbers and likes, that kind of honesty is a small, beautiful rebellion.

Mexican artists G L’e P and Pablo Gicasso debut on Roam Recordings with their EP “Route 375”.
Named after Nevada’s mysterious Route 375 — a highway known for its endless desert, mirages, and otherworldly energy — this EP captures the feeling of driving through the unknown. The sound is inspired by the raw freedom of Burning Man desert parties and by distinctive artists like Rebolledo, blending hypnotic rhythms with dusty, analog textures.
Drawing from Los Angeles’ fashion and rock culture, NEVADA 375 also pays tribute to the city’s darker, electric pulse. Chromo channels the rebellious spirit of Chrome Hearts and the raw energy of Beastie Boys, fusing distorted guitars.
Meanwhile, Motor Disco takes us back to the 1980s — a fusion of retro disco pads and dark rock riffs, built around a mechanical rhythm that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. It’s disco with an engine, moving fast through the night.
